Great community pub hidden in the backstreets of South Bristol. Nice selection of drinks & the menu looked awesome. Few good veggie choices on it, including pizzas.
Staff were friendly & polite.
Fabulous garden overlooking Bedminster & beyond.
Well behaved dogs on leads welcome too.
Definitely warrants a return visit soon.

Thank Rachel S

This venue was suggested by a friend as we were visiting this side of Bristol.
Firstly for the drivers amongst us there is no car park, just on street parking. The exterior of the building does not look too inviting but the interior makes up for that.
There is a small menu and I would not describe it as 'gastropub'. There is a pleasant outside space but the interior is not large should the weather be inclement.
Even if I was in the area again not too sure I'd return

This establishment tries to be 'Shabby-Chic' & only manages 'Shabby'. Bog standard burgers at absurd prices are standard fare & drinks are often imported foul tasting rotgut. The interior looks like it was furnished from a skip.

This pub is something of a hidden gem and typical of the Totterdown area of Bristol: nestled amongst the terraced houses away from the busy Wells Road. This pub is right beside Victoria Park, so a great way to finish off a day in the park. Never had food here but it has a fantastic beer garden with great views, and a good selection of local draught beer, US IPAs, ales, European bottles and spirits.

Have used this pub on many occasions with the same hospitality, it never changed, miserable blonde lady who I’ve never seen smile and a bloke they are both so miserable no warm smile or greeting they just look totally fed up as if they are doing you a favour we’ve always just laughed it off and had a conversation about it, we Luv the garden but seriously we are not gonna bother anymore there are lots of pubs with nice gardens, good food, with a smile it makes s difference, as I was brought up in the industry I always had a smile for the customers, food is ok and the waiting staff are ok, it’s them 2 (the managers or tenants I think)who really ruin the place Shame
