Stayed a couple of nights in this hotel recently, the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble , the room was decorated lovely and very clean !
The room also had a kettle tea coffee hot chocolates and biscuits ! Very nice touch and also a hair drier .
Breakfast had everything you could wish for , varieties of cereals , fresh fruit salad, pastries a cheese board and a full English breakfast and it was all delicious , couldn’t of asked for anything more so Thankyou Clifton house , will definitely return when in Bristol again

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at Clifton House for a weekend. We stayed when the weather was terrible and the staff were great about the possiblity of having to cancel if the snow was too bad, and after making the decision to go I'm so glad we did!

We had a really beautiful room on the 3rd floor. Only small issue was the wifi but we were told that the bad weather had caused a problem and the engineer was due to come out on the Monday so it was more unfortunate than a problem with the B&B. The bathroom was lovely and had a great shower!

The staff were amazing, so friendly, accommodating and helpful. We already knew Bristol well before our trip but if you're new to the city, I would definitely recommend staying here as the staff had some great recommendations and could really help with pointing you in the right direction. There is lots to explore in close proximity to the B&B as well - Clifton village is a short walk away, Whiteladies road has great restaurants and shops on and the Triangle also has some lovely restaurants. There's also parking at the B&B which was a life saver as parking in Bristol can be a nightmare.

Clifton House is a fabulous B&B just off Whiteladies Road in Clifton, Bristol. I’ve stayed here a few times now, and will definitely be back. It’s an absolute gem of a place! It’s fabulously clean, and beautifully decorated. The rooms are lovely with all you’d expect, ensuite, kettle, hairdryer, TV etc and very comfortable. The rooms vary in size and the single rooms are quite small, but perfectly fine. Private parking. Superb breakfasts. The jewel in the crown is the lovely Lorraine, efficient, welcoming, friendly and nothing is too much trouble for her.

We booked into the Clifton House as a last minute attempt to make sure we could gain access to the Bristol Hippodrome, that evening, for a show we had booked and were in danger of not being able to attend due to severe snow storms. We had to travel 30 miles and had to decide whether to go or not and so we were absolutely delighted to find such a wonderful place to stay! The room we had was one of their King Rooms which have been recently refurbished and they are superb. Beautiful furnishings and such a wonderful size. Lorraine, the Manager, was so welcoming and the breakfast the next morning was as generous and tasty as any we have had, fantastic accommodation, lovely staff and in a great location!!

Room Tip: The Lower floor King Rooms are exceptional

Stayed here for one night while away on a city break in bristol. Good walking distance from bars and shopping, only a few mins drive from the zoo.

Rooms were clean and quaint with tea and coffee facilitys required. Only downside it the double beds seemed tiny, however peaceful night's sleep

Good nice breakfast with friendly staff. Would stay here again if visiting bristol.
