Description: Andy and Emma have refurbished 'The Boot Pub' Bledlow Ridge to offer you and your family a relaxing and welcoming modern village pub and eating house. Situated in the heart of the picturesque Chiltern Hills, The Boot offers local ales, fresh locally produced food and fabulous wines. The Boot's menu reflects our chef's desire to create exciting dishes to suit all tastes, so you and your family can dine in style. The Boot's huge garden provides hours of fun for children (and well behaved dogs) to play, a stunning outdoor eating area and ample room for marquees to cater for larger events. Whether you fancy joining us for a casual drink, a delicious evening meal or a leisurely Sunday lunch, you will always be greeted with a friendly smile and attentive service.

Visited on a Thursday night with my Mum, and all I can is that the whole experience was lovely.
Shared the fisherman's platter, and then had the famous three little piggies, and lastly followed by the sticky toffee pudding. All were amazing and would highly recommend all of the meals I enjoyed.
Only negative I have to say is that with the three little piggies it could of done with a sharp knife for the top layer of pork belly, but that could of been because my knife was blunt.
Overall perfect meal, and lovely staff.

Thank Georgie L

We recently held our 30th wedding anniversary party at The Boot. I'd like to commend the team for really making an effort to give us a very special day, from very personal service to super food. The Boot has a unique atmosphere - it manages to be both intimate and up to date, and welcomed we villagers and our visitors together. Thank you very much The Team at The Boot!

Just had our 50th wedding anniversary lunch at The Boot. They helped us with the planning and laid on a tasty buffet, good service and first class wines. A very professional service thoroughly enjoyed by 30 of us.

Had a lovely lunch here after stumbling across it after a dog walk. Sat in the garden which was ideally appointed for kids and dogs. Were a party of 6 - 4 adults, 2 kids and numerous dogs. Very dog friendly. Extensive menu. Had the sea bass while others had steak.Great service, very tasty food with good portions. Resolved to return which we will do in the summer - would recommend.

At last we managed to get to The Boot for a Tuesday lunch early March 2017.
We were NOT disappointed.
We liked the halloumi starter, the Trio of Lamb was excellent, as was the sticky toffee pudding, which was a lively soft sponge. in fact everything was excellent.
So much so we booked for Sunday lunch, and lucky we did. (A) it was VERY busy. and (B) one of the best Sunday roasts we have had for a long time and served with 4 different type of vegetables. .Plus we thought the prices to be pretty fair for everything on the menu, and the quality of food. Oh yes, also a lovely ambiance.
This has now become our favorite place to eat when in Chinnor. It used to be The Thatch, but that has dropped down the list now with its menu choice.
I look forward to visiting again on our next trip.
