The apartment was perfect, very clean, modern and comfortable, close to the local supermarkets and within a short walking distance from the city centre. Mick was very helpful and informed us about the sites to see and even took the trouble to make sure there was a wheelchair available for our use when we arrived at the apartment. Altogether a very pleasant stay and highly recommended.
We had a fantastic time staying in this impeccable apartment. Everything we needed was there from hair dryers and cafetiere to parking. Everything was thought about, and Daniel and Mick were great hosts. The apartment is luxurious and is located in a safe and convenient part of Cambridge with a co-op right next door! We would definitely stay again.
I stayed at this apartment with 6 friends and found it a good base for the weekend and as the weather was really nice we didn't mind the walk from the train station or to the city centre.
There are 2 local supermarkets and a few eateries literally a few minutes walk away. Even our Michelin starred restaurant that we booked was directly across the road.
My dealings with Mick and Daniel were really good and i was particularly impressed with how quickly they returned our deposits after our stay.
We would definitely recommend this apartment if you need parking and fancy using the gym.

5 of us stayed here for the weekend. It was very easy to book and Daniel the property manager sorted out everything just as was requested. The apartment is spacious and very modern while the beds (even the sofa bed) are large and comfy. Good standard throughout and excellent open communal spaces. The fa t that you also get a parking space is great.
It is approximately 20 minute walk into town which is fine (it was summer after all) but just be aware if you expect it to be closer to the river and the town centre etc.
Wifi and full list of can numbers etc is all provided. This is a residential site so you do need to understand that there are families as neighbours.
The gym is small but very functional should you wish to use it.
There are a couple of chain restaurants next to the apartment if you need a quick bite to eat and also tescos & sainsburys within a minute walk.
Overall and excellent spec apartment which provided a great base for a summer weekend in Cambridge.
I booked Kingfisher Apartments for a two day "away day" for work. The apartment was large and spacious, with an excellently appointed kitchen and large sitting room, two good sized bedrooms (one en suite) and a separate bathroom. The wifi was free and fast, always a bonus, especially in a working environment. There was also an outside patio area that we would have used more for coffee breaks if the weather had been a little more clement. There is an off street parking area and a gym, although we didn't use that, and given its location, set back behind the Hills Road, feels extremely private as well as being quiet. Perhaps understandably given the need to service the rooms between bookings check in is 1600, possibly a little late, and check out 1000, definitely too early. Nevertheless, Daniel was extremely helpful when we arrived early arranging to let us park with the concierge and coming over to let us in and his before and after stay follow up was also admirable. You really sensed that he valued your custom and wanted you to have a good visit. Despite the tiny niggles, I'd definitely stay here again and would recommend Kingfisher Apartments highly.
