This place is an iconic pub in Chester. Well worth a visit, and great home cooked food. Only complaint is that sometimes they are closed when open as advertised on their website.

Made a special trip to visit a Chester pub icon. Put off by the sign on the door basically suggesting we (and other similar parties) weren't welcome. left to go elsewhere where our custom was appreciated

This was the first time we had visited after 25 years and nothing had changed! Brilliant! We love it here...very atmospheric with all the vintage decor from the early 1900s. Friendly staff and lovely wine. There was hardly anyone in which meant we could choose where to sit (it was a Tuesday night). Had a great a evening there. Thank you!

Popped into the Albion for a couple of drinks and some proper home cooked food. Jayne the cottage pie which looked and tasted fantastic, I had Kashmir Chicken and boiled rice which tasted great. The food is freshly prepared. Lots of old advertising signs/pictures adorn the walls and fresh flowers around the room. In another room a roaring fire was blazing away.

Lovely homemade food, lovely service, great staff, always sit in front of the fire in the back room. Real traditional English pub, nice atmosphere and the corned beef hash is AMAZING!! Love it here.
