It is greatly appreciated that our attention to detail has been recognised. We cannot always control the weather but we always endeavour to make our guest's stay an enjoyable experience. Breakfasts are cooked to order and can be a continental choice or the full English. Our location is also ideal for walking to many of Falmouth's points of interest or exploring the South West Coastal Footpath.

We stayed here for 7 nights and couldn't fault it. Jenny and Steve are friendly and informative hosts. The bed was very comfortable and the fried breakfast was top class. The position, opposite the beach and a short walk to the town, was excellent. I would highly recommend it.

From the moment we were welcomed by Jenny and Steve with tea and cake in the large attractive guest lounge, to the moment they waved us off three days later we had a brilliant stay at San Remo.

We had a lovely freshly decorated spacious bedroom with sea views, good en suite, and lovely breakfast each morning. The position only a few yards from the really attractive main beach is really outstanding and with coastal walks right on your door step if you want to explore. Central Falmouth is less than 10 minutes walk away and has lots of nice pubs and Restaurants. Just leave the car in San Remo's spacious car park and forget driving for a day or two, if you wish.

We were made to feel welcome and we really enjoyed our trip to Falmouth and our stay at San Remo. And great value for money.

We are so pleased that you enjoyed both your stay at San Remo and Falmouth. The town has a lot to offer at all times of the year. With the South West Coastal Footpath about 100 metres away San Remo offers a great location for not just exploring Falmouth but the coastline with Porthscatho in one direction and the Helford in the other. Falmouth Town railway station is 10 minutes walk away so a car is not necessarily required.
We are glad you enjoyed the home made cake on arrival and Steve's delicious made to order breakfasts. We hope to see you again at San Remo.

Jenny & Steve were fab hosts.

Great location - 10mins walk into town and 1min to beach. Always got a parking space - although because of location, must be honest did leave my car in the car park a few days as walked to places instead.

Breakfast - great choice including cereals, yogurt, fruit plus a good variety available for cooked breakfast.

Room - great view of Gyllyngvase Beach from my room. Comfy bed and pretty spacious for a single room. Only downside with the room was the shower. Mentioned it to Jenny at breakfast and she advised that they are gradually adding shower pumps to each room.

Wi-Fi available

Falmouth Town train station only 10mins away. Ferries available to get to various places as well - aim to use these next time I visit.

Lots of great restaurants nearby - would recommend Harbour Lights fish & chip restaurant and Quayside Inn.
Jenny mentioned at breakfast on my first day that as a guest of San Remo - you can get various discounts at various restaurants in town - used the discount at Harbour Lights.

Would definitely stay at the San Remo again!

Terrific commitment from Owners Jenny & Steve - who have remarkable insights into human nature [ eg. fragile or special needs' guests ]. Nothing too much trouble. Proprietrix talks knowledgeably about Falmouth and its attractions. Moreover, a good & varied Breakfast, tailor made for each guest. Rooms airy and comfortable and well-maintained, if sometimes a trifle traditional. Swimming EXCELLENT : deep yet safe Beach a matter of seconds away. We would definitely return to the San Remo.

Room Tip: Sea View helps

Thank you for your thoughtful review. We are pleased you felt at home at San Remo, we do our best to empathise with our guests to enable them to have an enjoyable and stress free break. Our location is ideal for swimming which both Steve and I take advantage of and encourage our guests to do the same, although it is not compulsory!
We hope to see you and your family again in the near future.
