Stayed for 2 nights. Had a 'budget double' room which was on the ground floor. Excellent value really as the room was still a decent size, good sized en-suite bathroom and nice and clean. The bed was really comfortable. The first day we were able to check in early and used the on site health club which had a pool, sauna and Jacuzzi. Really nice. The only real downside was the distance from the town (about 20min walk) but we knew this when booking, and also the breakfast. Cooked options were nice enough but did not feel the buffet selection was very good and the croissants were hard both days. Small complaint though as otherwise a really nice place with nice and helpful staff.

Stayed here for work, tried it rather than the usual travelodge etc. Hotel is a lovely place, good setting, health club looked OK.

Room was functional, food good.

So far so good but when I tried to sleep every time somebody moved about in the room above the ceiling creaked enough to wake me up. Every time they flushed the loo it was like the Angel Falls in my room as the soil pipe run across and down the wall in my room (boxed in). Consequently a night of disturbed sleep.

On checkout the lady asked if I had a good night and I said "my room was fine, the problem was with the one upstairs" she replied "oh the creaking floor". So they know about the issue but still put people in the room! Hotel didn't even appear to be full so I could have had another room I would suppose.

Poor customer service in my book to know about a fault but still offer the room.

Room Tip: Get a room on the first floor

Lovely clean hotel. Some exceptional staff especially a young chap sorry didn't get his name but sounded northern very considerate and communicated well with my 2 year nothing we asked for at dinner or breakfast was to much. The food was great quality ate from the bar menu and the food was very nice. Pool was very good a lovely place to stay.
My only suggestion would be to possibly create an area for children to play in.

What makes this hotel different from others, the staff particular in restaurant and reception they were professional, they took the time to ask about your day, we're happy it showed they enjoyed what they do. Special thanks to Josh and the rest of the restaurant team.
The food was great
The only negative remark was the chap behind the bar prior to dinner who was very unfriendly and abrupt.

Room Tip: The rooms are lovely no noise from road or other rooms

Nice place to stay for the money. My wife and I spent 3 nights here on the tail end of the bank holiday weekend for a fair price.

Upsides: clean rooms and well sized. Good food. Friendly staff.

Downsides: Mattresses could be more comfortable and south facing rooms get hot during the day.

Recommendations for things to do nearby: grab a pint from the diverse beer list at The Front Pub in Falmouth, and a steak at the Warehouse. Use Donald's Cars for your taxi. They are awesome. For a day trip go to Saint Ives or Saint Michaels Mount.
