We visted Smugglers cott in 2017 and was impressed by food and service ,in 12 months the service is still A1, but the small and amount of fancy veg and smaller main items such as a piece of salmon my daughter had was tiny and the veg thin slices of carrot. red cabbage, and sweet peas one small dish for 3 adults and this a premium prices I would give it a miss next time empty belly and wallet

The scallops were just warm and tasteless and the staff were a bit miserable. Tried going back another night and was told no tables, the chips were fab though

We chose this Restaurant as we were on holiday and wanted to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. The food was amazing and very well presented. I loved this little place with most of the beams coming from the Armada. Staff were professional and attentive. I did wonder why it only opened from 6.00pm to 9.00pm but now I understand, with the quality of the food and the amount of people there (It was a Wednesday Evening) they do not need to open any longer. My husband had the fish soup for starters and it looked (and tasted) divine. I chose the Posh Beef and Reef which was amazing. Only 1 tiny negative comment, and this is purely personal. I was served the King Prawns still in their shells and I dont like that.I cannot recommend this highly enough but be sure to book

Excellent selection of beautifully cooked meats combined with great service. The selection of vegetables was an added bonus.
