Stayed here recently before a flight from Newquay Airport.
Very friendly owners of the hotel made everything straight forward. Comfy bed and decent room, superb food in the pub and only a very short walk to the airport, highly recommended.

Booked for Father’s Day for a treat for my dad. I rang and booked and checked for wheelchair access, when we arrived we found they’d moved the chair from the table ready for our arrival, I thought that was a lovely touch and so very thoughtful. The food was amazing, so much so we are going to go back for lunch again. Thank you to the amazing staff, nothing was too much trouble.

On arriving at Newquay airport, turn right and walk through the car park. Be careful when crossing the main road and arrive at the Smugglers Inn just 100 yards down the road. We had a warm weloome , tasty ales and delicious fresh fish and chips. Clean room and comfy bed with plenty of tea and coffee plus biscuits. The breakfast was as good as the evening meal with double everything, all served by friendly hosts. We will be calling in for a meal before our flight home and it will be our preferred stopover place when traveling ftp and from the airport. Unbeatable value, I hope it makes a profit for the hosts.

Visited today for Lunch, the inn is run by a very friendly lovely young couple who advised they only took over in October, a fine selection of Rum and Gin, with a good selection of draught beers, the food was divide, our children had Fish & Chips, whilst my wife & I had Fish Pie which was mmmmmm, they were also serving Sunday Roast and are doing a BBQ from 5-8pm this evening, they also have 2 great pool tables and also do breakfast, which we will probably have to sample whilst we are here on holiday, highly recommend you visit, we enjoyed it and will be going again as it is also dog friendly.

We have just returned from spending a full week at the smuggler's inn and boy, was that a great choice!

The inn is located less than 5 minutes away from the airport by foot, which conveniently means you have access to the A5 bus station that takes you either all the way to newquay or padstow, with all the stops on the way. We had originally planned to rent a car but the bus was so convenient that we never had to.

The inn itself is charming! Wood everywhere, really cozy and great ambiance! The inn is run by new owners and it's a family business. They were incredibly welcoming and quite frankly, made our trip so much better! Thank you Jack, Lauren and Vicky, if you read this and ever come to Paris, give us a shout! They have gone the extra billion miles to make us comfortable.

The inn includes breakfast with several options, from the humble cereals to the mighty full english breakfast (But mind your belly, sausages, eggs and bacon every morning will get ya!). For lunch and supper, you get to choose from a wide range of delicious meals, including some vegetarian (and vegan I think? I can't recall) options.

The rooms were great and clean, and we had a nice, unobstructed view onto the gorgeous cornwall hills, with no vis-a-vis. We came back every evening to a tidy room with re-stocked coffee, tea, cookies and water.

For those lazy evenings, there are two pool tables, darts and cards available in the inn.

All and all, a wonderful experience, would definitely recommend!
