Accommodated six adults and three dogs on day that saw three seasons in a matter of 10 minutes. Lovely hosting nothing was too much trouble. Lovely location and very atmospheric. Now for the food we all ordered something different and we were not disappointed would highly recommend the fish soup.

Suitable for all. Although toilet is upstairs.

Very knowledgable about the local area and Doc Martin!

Had the perfect table for watching a scene of Doc Martin being filmed. And thoroughly enjoyed our lunch of soup, crab sandwiches, and pints. Staff was lovely.

You can't dine much closer to the beach than at The Mote, perched on the slipway to the beach at Port Isaac. A traditional coastal pub, serving tasty, well presented food. The menu is not huge and as you would expect, includes many fish dishes, but burgers, steak and pasta is also on the menu. Staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. There is a cosy first floor loft style dining area and highchairs are available for little ones. A great place for lunch or dinner during a stroll on the beach or after a lengthy hill climb, Well worth a visit.

Great choice of food, very generous portions especially the pate starter which was huge and delicious. The waitress was young, enthusiastic, informative and friendly. It was a horribly wet winter night and it was a lovely to enjoy some fine food and a few drinks.

With fresh sea food abundant in the area, it’s hard to go wrong with a place like this.

Wonderfully presented dishes with freshly caught ingredients made for a truly welcomed pit stop on our walk around the headland.

We were met with a warm, buzzing atmosphere on arrival and very friendly and polite staff. The menu had a good range to choose from - I went for the Crab rarebit as a starter and catch of the day and chips as a main. That was probably one of the best fish and chips I have ever had. Flakey and tender fish with a perfect batter. Loved it!
