Due to our Dog needing surgery, Russell re-accommodated us & we stayed here last weekend in The Parlour which was cosy, spacious, very clean & warm especially after our very wet journey. A Cream Tea & Treat for our Dog was waiting for us which was a lovely welcome from the very hospitable owner Russell. Wished we stayed longer & we can't wait to go back & will definitely recommend to our friends :)

We have just come home after a fantastic holiday at Trevalgan. Wonderful location for exploring SW Cornwall and a great cottage with everything we needed. Our children enjoyed the play barn and the animals. Would highly recommend it.

We have just returned home from our third stay at Trevalgan and as always it was a delight. The accommodation is perfectly tailored to families with young children with all the little extras you hope to find (changing mat, bath mat, age appropriate toys) all in an idyllic setting that mums and dads can enjoy too! The new outdoor play area is a fantastic addition and as always the apartment was clean, spacious and tidy. Sadly we weren't blessed with good weather this year making the holiday accommodation even more important - Trevalgan didn't disappoint, being our home for cosy afternoons as a family playing and watching DVDs. Thank you Russell and Melanie for another great stay.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review. We are delighted that you made the most of your week, in spite of some very challenging weather, most unlike June as you know! We look forward to welcoming you back again soon. Russell.

We'd read some mixed reviews but with the promise of so many kid friendly options we decided to book a week here. Unfortunately our cottage, particularly the bedroom where our kid was sleeping on an air bed, smelled badly of damp, as did the play barn. The carpet was actually wet to walk on in the bedroom and there was no key to open the windows for ventilation - not just a health but a fire hazard too. We won't be going back.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It was a real shame the weather was quite awful for your whole week, sadly that's beyond our control. I only wish you had mentioned your concerns to us when you were here so we could have rectified them for you.

I can assure you the windows are never locked, you just need to push the button and then turn the handle as I thought all double glazed windows are, maybe not? I did test them the day you left and all opened as they should but I may well make a note of how to open them in the information file in order to ensure future customers do not have a problem so thank you for pointing this out.

I'm sorry we won't be able to welcome you back, I hope you have a better experience elsewhere. - Russell

We have just literally arrived home after a wonderful week staying in The Parlour. Mummy, Daddy, little girl and the dog enjoyed every moment. Set in the best part of Cornwall just outside beautiful St Ives we were able to explore miles of open countryside and coastline.
The farm is great, our daughter particularly enjoyed visiting the cows, chickens, ducks and goats several times a day!! And the play barn allowed Mummy and Daddy time to lay in!! One very tired little girl, and dog, every evening.
This is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the best of Cornwall, and such a warm welcome from Russ too. Thank you.
