We have just returned from attending a wedding in St.Ives and were so lucky to come across this delightful B&B. The room was lovely with a wonderful sea view and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Although we only stayed for one night, Pete and Heidi could not have been more helpful. We would definitely like to spend more time in this beautiful part of the world and now know the perfect place to stay.

we have just returned from another stay at the chy an gwedhen it was lovely to be given such a warm and friendly welcome, the room has had new furniture since our last stay and re decorated, it was all very classy and tasteful and the bed and pillows so comfortable, breakfast was lovely with additional items on the menu and as ever it was all gorgeous, at breakfast we discovered that all the guests were returning visitors which says a lot for this bed and breakfast, someone has also been busy with a makeover at the back of the property and the new pateo was an absolute sun trap. our only disappointment during our stay was that when we are off in september it is already fully booked , we shall just have to book earlier next time, thanks for a great stay once again . fixing the great weather too ,

Room Tip: from what i have seen all the rooms are lovely with good views and lovely decor and furnishings

Home from home. Warm welcome and clean and comfortable room. I found the location perfect for touring this part of Cornwall. After a very filling scrumptious breakfast there is a Tesco supermarket 5 mins in one direction for a fresh picnic lunch and all your other needs and a pub 5 mins in the other direction for a delicious evening meal. Last year I walked from Chy an Gwedhen down St Michael's Way and the coast path to St Ives and Carbis Bay, most magical walks with stunning views. This time I walked up St Michael's Way to Knills Monument. The views were incredible. You could see both coastlines, St Ives Bay and across to The Lizard. Next to Chy an Gwedhen is a delightful little park too where I enjoyed quieter moment watching the birds. And Pete and Heidi are always on hand to advise on travel, restaurants and public transport. Looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Ask Pete and Heidi which room will suit your requirements.

We stayed at this bed and breakfast for 3 nights. I must say it was exceptional. Pete and Heidi are wonderful hosts, making us feel so welcome. Room 3 was immaculate, clean, tidy and decorated to a high standard and even had chocolates on the bed when we arrived. The view across the bay was amazing. Breakfast was very well cooked and well presented. Wanted to book up to go back in September but unfortunately they were fully booked. Will definitely be going back another time. Thanks Pete and Heidi for a wonderful few days.

Had a three night stay at chy an gweden and Pete & Heidi were great hosts, very welcoming & friendly. The breakfast was excellent and lots to choose from. The B&B was lovely & our room overlooked Carbis bay which was a lovely view. About a 20 minute walk into St Ives via the coast path which is just at the back of the B&B, not so good if you don't like walking as it's abit steep in places but was fine for us & a nice walk. The bus does pass regular so that's an option aswell. Overall a great place to stay & st ives is just beautiful.
