Four of us dropped in for a quick lunch and were surprised at the variety of items on the menu. Everything from soup, jacket potatoes, full lunches and delicious looking cakes and pastries. We only had tea and pasties and soup. All were excellent. The rest of the food coming out looked lovely. We will return on our next visit to Dartmouth.

We only went to the bakery part but they had the best selection of cakes and pastries that I've seen. Some of the items were a little expensive but the giant hot dog is worth getting. They heat it up and serve it with mustard, ketchup and onions if you want. The Belgium bun was also very good. A bottle of water though costs £1.28.

This venue has a lovely product and a great position. The afternoon tea we had there included very good fresh baking but the sad thing is, the atmosphere is so dated and feels doomed. Please could the owners look at updating the whole menu/offer and it will revive this very worthwhile venue.

Nice food and friendly staff but watch out for the prices. A jacket potato is £4.75 and then £2.40 each for cheese and a dollop of coleslaw. So nearly £10 for a very average jacket potato. The cakes in the restaurant upstairs are 3 times of the cost compared to buying them in the bakery. For example £4.50 for a small slice of a very average carrot cake. Say no too expensive tourist traps!

we visited for a lunch and were very disappointed with the food and service . Un friendly and poor food which we think is expensive for what you get.
