We had the sharing chateaubriand for 2. Wow oh wow, its was cooked to perfection and the taste was amazing. The truffle butter is a great match.

Real nice place just off the high street.

I thought the price was great value too however we had a Groupon voucher giving even better value.

This is a little gem!

Great family restaurant.

We had a voucher for a chateau briand for two which meant not only was it delicious but great value for money too meaning we had starters and dessert as well, the steak itself was cooked exactly as we asked and really tender. We had a very efficient and attentive waitress and would recommend to friends and family based on our experience and will definitely visit again.

Service was pleasant, friendly and informative. Food was delicious ! Would definitely recommend for couples or small families ... not so much suitable for children. Menu is small but the food is quality !

On a previous visit to Exeter a couple of week's ago we spotted this restaurant's advertisement board on the High Street so decided to give it a try. The price for a lunch special was !0.95 for two courses (starter and main) and although a limited choice my wife and I could happily have chosen anything - it was all so appealing. My wife chose the duck pate (the accompanying lingonberry sauce was superb) followed by the mackerel. I chose the 'tricolore' salad - tomato, mozzarella and green leaves, followed by fillet mignon (£2 supplement) with a bearnaise sauce, warm green salad and some of the best chips I have ever eaten. Excellent lunch with two drinks and two coffees for £35 - excellent value.

We wanted a good steak and that's exactly what we got.
My son had the salmon which was also perfect. We both he fillet steak with truffle butter which was delicious.
Service and atmosphere also lovely.
They have live music on a Friday night but sadly we left before then.
