We were lucky enough to stay in the “Watersmeet Suite” on the top floor - we arrived when it was dark - so when we opened the blinds in the morning- the view of Lynmouth Bay was just breathtaking.
The hosts were amazing from the time we arrived to the moment we left - always smiling & helpful - you are not just a number at this hotel - you are part of the family.
The decor was a little fancy for our usual taste - but the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable.
It was lovely to have both a bath and a shower.
Would definitely recommend this hotel in Lynton

Room tip: There is parking - but quite tight at busy times.

We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful, clean, beautifully decorated and interesting hotel. The Victorian era decor and wall paintings as well as the cosy ‘honesty’ bar were delightful. Most memorable was our wonderful breakfast on the terrace overlooking the stunning views of Foreland Point. We didn’t get a chance to meet the owner but the Manageress and Chef were very welcoming and professional - a real credit.

Very friendly staff, very helpful and obliging, comfortable bed, and couldn't fault the food, hotel in a picturesque position, we had changed bedrooms twice as I couldn't manage all the stairs, but didn't charge any extra, and would like to thank the staff for there help.

Room tip: Parking not easy in Lynton, although a lovely place, very hilly.

My family had a wonderful stay at the Seawood. The location, with breathtaking views is simply incredible. The hotel is impeccably clean and service is excellent. The highlight was having a full English breakfast on the terrace with a nice coffee whilst taking in the stunning views.

Special thanks to Laura and Peter for being such wonderful hosts

Will definitely return.

A fabulous hotel with stunning views. The decor is lovely and matches the period of the hotel. The staff and lovely - nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast just just right. No complaints whatsoever. If you want to treat yourself this is the place for you.

Room tip: The stair case to the top floor is hard going, but the views are outstanding.
