We booked in for a midweek break and were delighted to find a beautifully appointed boutique hotel when we were expecting a B&B-fantastic rooms with attention to detail and extremely clean and comfortable. Clive and James our hosts were very welcoming and Clives breakfast is great. We found it to be an excellent location with a short stroll to the seafront,Cockington etc.We can't recommend this Hotel highly enough - We will definitely be back .

I stayed at this hotel with my partner for just one night and we were sorry we couldn't stay longer.

The hotel was beautifully appointed, very clean and comfortably furnished with all the amenities you would expect.

We were given a nice welcome and we found the service very helpful. We were provided with a map of the area and directions into town etc.

The breakfast was freshly cooked, made with good ingredients and there was a good choice.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I were in Torquay.

This is a lovely Hotel thet is spotleely clean there was'nt a bit of dirt anywhere. The rooms were beautifully decorated as the rest of the Hotel Breakfast was very with plent of choice. It is a little bit to far out from the habour and shops to walk to many times a day, as it took us a good 35 mins. The only bad things I could say about the Hotel is that the shower was slow and the pillows were very hard and made it uncomfortable to sleep.

We stayed in this B&B for 4 nights this summer. We were greeted at the front door on arrival, and the propertier could not have been more helpful. He always went out of his way to help and advise us on the local attractions. The room had a duel aspect, facing onto the excellent garden where we sat during one afternoon. The cleanliness of the rooms matched many 4 star hotels which we have stayed in, and the decor was superb. The breakfast was fantastic, ranging from a continental breakfast to smoked salmon and scrambled eggs.

We would certainly recommend this B and B to anyone who was travelling to Torquay for a holiday, and will certainly be going back on our next visit.

Bentley lodge is a nice and cosy place to stay in Torquay. Its a bit outside of the city center, but the most places to visit are in walking distance.
The room we stayed in was small but very cosy and clean the bathroom as well.
Although the lodge located on the main road our room faced the opposite side and was totally quiet when the window was closed.
Very friendly and helpful owners, good quality breakfast.
