It is located right in the center of town. Large, light rooms, en-suite. The pub and restaurant are excellent. Jake and his team are friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Thank you couldn't have been better.

First time visit and it certainly won't be the last. Great atmosphere and a traditional English pub feel. Look out for the special offers. We had pie and mash on 'Pie night' - tremendous value and a good selection of beers too. Exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff. If you are ever in Totnes, go there, you won't be disappointed.

Popped in here on the off chance, as getting the river boat to Dartmouth, but decided to eat in Totnes, and so glad we chose here. the food was very tasty the roast beef was very nice, good size portions, and the staff were efficient and friendly. Not expensive either......Sunday roast, cod chips and peas 2 drinks all for less than £20
There is a slight incline to get to this pub as its half way up the main street, around a ten minute slow walk from the drop off point at the quay side.

While visiting the town, we decided to have lunch, as normal we like to find a good pub. This our choice and a great one at that. Decorated very tasteful good choice of drinks with a reasonably priced menu and a 2 meals for £12.00 Had the 2 meal offer wasn't expecting much for that price, but we were presently surprised with the ones we chose, tasty, plentiful and worth having.
