Had the best morning with a spa experience, We both had a back massage, The masseuse was amazing!
The only downside was, the service in the restaurant was slow. Hence, a 4*.
The Spa its self was definitely a 5*.

I went to the spa on a weekday morning and had two treatments. The spa was very peaceful, clean and everything was working. The massage and facial that i had were great. Louliana was absolutely amazing and my back/shoulders felt like new after her hands! Definitely recommend this for a relaxing experience. The whole atmosphere of the place was great and the service was very friendly.

My wife and I have just visited the Hotel for my wife’s birthday. We stayed in a Superior Sea View room. We were really pleased with the view from our window (see photo), really felt in the heart of Brighton. The Spa was a lovely bonus too, you can quite easily have a relaxing few hours enjoying the facilities. We used the restaurant attached for breakfast, which was excellent, and enjoyed cocktails before our night out in their too. The cost for this hotel is fair and we would recommend this to any couples thinking of staying overnight in Brighton.

The hotel is right on the seafront. We booked a special deal through Secret Escapes to include breakfast, spa treatment and dinner credit. The room included in this rate was so tiny with no view whatsoever. We paid £40 extra to upgrade to a sea view room which was much nicer. I did. send 2 emails beforehand to ask for the possibility of an upgrade but received no reply! Reception were very helpful and let us check the room before upgrading. The large bed was extremely comfortable with top quality linen and duvet. The decor is very nice but there is some water damage around the window. The secondary double glazing was efficient in keeping out noise from the road but was full of condensation in the morning. The rain shower was not flowing properly as the rubber spouts were blocked with limescale and the water was going any way but down. It was a simple but time consuming just to ping each rubber nodule to clear the limescale.
The massage in the spa was very good. The pool is small but nice for a quick dip.
We were advised in the restaurant that we could only eat from the set menu (3 courses) which was quite limited, whereas we would have preferred just to have one or 2 courses from a La carte. Why were we not advised this when booking or before arrival??
Overall we enjoyed our stay and the staff were helpful. We had previously stayed at the Harbour Hotel in Christchurch which was superior.

Room tip: Car parks in Brighton re extreme,y expensive!

We have just returned from a three day break to the Brighton Harbour Hotel. This is the fourth Harbour Hotel we have stayed at over recent years and it has to be said that it fell well short of our other experiences.

Superficially the hotel seems to be well kept but alarm bells rang when we saw complimentary ear plugs in the bathroom. It became apparent why these were provided in the early hours of the morning when we were awoken with people making an absolute racket on the staff staircase behind our room. We mentioned this at reception the following morning and were told that we hadn’t been the only people to mention this.

We booked a no seafront room and it was reasonably appointed but there was nowhere to hang wet towels after showering!

The Spa treatments were amazing and the spa staff were very experienced. The treatment rooms were peaceful and well maintained. The spa itself is underground and full of steps so you have to be careful when walking around on wet floors. One of the two hot tubs was out of use for the whole duration - this was never pointed out when checking into the spa.

The hotel is in a good location on the sea front and a short walk from all the shops and restaurants. We felt the restaurant menu was extremely limited and therefore chose to eat at local restaurants in the area. The cocktails were amazing and reasonably priced.

A real consideration when staying here is the lack of parking. I appreciate the hotel has no control of this but it we paid £28 per day for the local car park.

Finally, I think it spoke volumes that when we came to check out the receptionist didn’t ask how our stay had been. No customer service skills - maybe the question wasn’t asked as the lift was out of order and we had just carried luggage dow two flight of stairs.

All in all not in the same league as the other hotels in the group. It has potential but a long way to go….

Room tip: Spa full of steps. Nowhere near the pool to sit and relax. Prepare for very expensive parking
