My friends and I spent two nights at the Kings 26th to 28th January and can recommend the hotel as completely gay friendly and delivers well on service.
We were accommodated in rooms 504 and 505 two standard double rooms, ( I had booked a single so was delighted to have the extra space) my room 504 was excellent, a decent size with double bed, storage, tea and coffee maker plus digital tv. I also enjoyed a side sea view which was delightful.
The shower room with toilet is on the small side and there were issues with the water pressure but didn't stop me using the shower and found the rain drop shower head very refreshing.
My friends in 505 also complained of poor water pressure but didn't detract from the hotel overall.
The Wi-Fi didn't work once during our stay so wasn't worth trying to spend time trying to access it.
The breakfast was first class especially "John" who is a true credit and was charm himself catering to our needs going out of his way to provide hot chocolate and speciality teas. I can particularly recommend the smoke salmon and scrambled eggs.
the hotel is undergoing renovation and once complete should see it totally freshened up, if your looking for a quality hotel and a decent price on the south coast you wont go far wrong with the kings!More
