A lovely friendly hotel close to all amenities

We visited as I wanted to see the murmuration. The hotel breakfast staff are so friendly and made us feel so welcome with our chihuahua pumpkin….we sat in the bar area to eat and our table service was above and beyond. We stayed in the family room 101 and found it lovely for size , beautiful bed and the sea view. Comfy beds and a lovely strong shower. If I was being picky…the bathroom door was hard to close and a dark unpainted part of the wall by the curtains in the main bedrooom which didn’t spoil our trip and could be easily rectified hence 5 stars
A short pleasant walk to the pier, shops etc.

Room tip: The hotel when we visited only did margarita pizza snack despite a board offering lovely sandwiches being up.

Room 101 is definitely a treat, the beautiful Seaview together with the room size really makes 101 the best room of the house and I'm happy you enjoyed it.
Thank you for letting us know about the issues in the toilet, I'll contact maintenance team regarding your comments on the bathroom door and wall so we can get that rectified ASAP.

Good location will stay here again

Good location, parking available, have stayed here twice before but unfortunately this time there was building work on the adjacent property which started early in the morning, ( we do understand this was of of the control of the hotel). Breakfast was good

Great Location. Broken Lift .Great Staff

The stay was 24 - 26th November & the stay was
paid for by way of Red Letter Day Vouchers. we
paid extra for the parking & breakfasts.

The Hotel is in a great location very close to the
I360 & the beach. It has a reception & all the staff
we encountered were very professional & couldn't
have been more accommodating.

The rooms are of a good size as are the ensuite
bathrooms. The only issue was that the lift was
out of order & there are loads of stairs especially
when carrying a pram up them.

The parking although not plentiful is just a short
distance from the hotel.

The breakfast seemed great value for money &
you definitely got more than you would expect.

The fact there is a hotel bar is a bonus as is the
dog friendly policy.

A comfortable stay in a busy hotel

Room tip: the lower the better. Faulty Lift

Return guests

Have stayed here on many occasions
Have always loved the location price parking staff and breakfast
But not this visit!
If you book with booking.com you are always given the worst room but this time it was hideous. The bathroom was bigger than the bedroom!
Very basic very cheap furniture although beds were comfortable
The lad on reception with the chipped nail varnish was very rude which was unusual for this hotel. We dealt with him a couple of times and he was very dismissive
Breakfast was as basic as they could get away with but the staff were very friendly
Also the lift was broken
Probably won’t stay again which is a shame but they are cutting costs as much as they can
Pay a bit extra and get more

It is a surprise to hear that a member of our staff was not welcoming, Jack, the staff you mentioned received several comments here regarding his great costumer service.

excellent service

From the friendly reception team, and being allocated a room on the first floor as requested, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, warm, with a comfortable bed and a great view. The restaurant was nicely decorated and once again staff were very friendly. The food was served quickly and plenty of it. We would stay here again if in Brighton.
