We stay at The Kings Hotel on a regular basis, and it never disappoints. We had a lovely sea view room, which was kept nice and warm ( it was freezing outside!), a delicious breakfast, and the usual friendly welcome from the lovely staff - many of whom we have now got to know over the years. The hotel is close enough to make the short walk 10-15 mins) into Brighton centre, but far away enough to not be disturbed by any late night revellers. This has always been our first choice hotel in Brighton, and I certainly can’t see that changing any time soon. Great value for money, and highly recommended.

My first time staying here, really lovely hotel.. room I had was nice, perfectly comfortable and spacious.. staff are very welcoming, Jaime was especially brilliant, he helped me wherever needed with whatever query I had.
Only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is the bar.. had to keep going to find a member of staff in order to get a drink but other than that, I was very happy.. I’ll definitely be returning

I want to say negative things about my stay, but thats impossible to do. Oh ok the wind blew through the cracks in the balcony doors, but the really thick curtains meant the cold was blocked out. I booked the family suite, over looking the sea in January 2023, baring in mind it was winter and blowing a hoolie, the warm reception you receive upon arrival, soon makes you forget the weather. A clean and welcoming hotel, served by staff members and managers alike. The room was way beyond what i expected, booked for one night, but enjoyed ourselves so much that we Stayed another night. Clean bedding, towels in abundance and an en suite bathroom. Absolutely gorgeous thank you to everyone who made our stay a lovely experience.

The hotel is presented good with nice rooms and comfortable bed.
The biggest issue we had was with the breakfast, the orange juice glass was an a slightly bigger egg cup, the coffee was bitter and no hot milk just cold, the traditional breakfast came but it was teribble they run out of back beans and hash browns so didn't get them, the bacon was streaky not back bacon and was like leather, the sausage was a very poor grade and was chewy, the tomato was hard, the scrambled egg wasn't but a plain omelette chopped up and rubbery, the mushrooms smelt and looked terrible as they had black bits all over them and didn't smell like they should, lastly the plate was cold so any heat in the poor food is lost quickly. Needless to say we didn't eat it and made an exit feeling quite nauseated. The food and beverage manager needs replacing.

Popped in to see if they had a family room for 4 nights. horrible and rude staff so we left without booking. It seems they obviously don't need or even want the business. I suggest trying somewhere closer to town. We ended up in an Air Bnb for the days we were in Brighton for roughly the same price.

We visited as I wanted to see the murmuration. The hotel breakfast staff are so friendly and made us feel so welcome with our chihuahua pumpkin….we sat in the bar area to eat and our table service was above and beyond. We stayed in the family room 101 and found it lovely for size , beautiful bed and the sea view. Comfy beds and a lovely strong shower. If I was being picky…the bathroom door was hard to close and a dark unpainted part of the wall by the curtains in the main bedrooom which didn’t spoil our trip and could be easily rectified hence 5 stars
A short pleasant walk to the pier, shops etc.

Room tip: The hotel when we visited only did margarita pizza snack despite a board offering lovely sandwiches being up.

Room 101 is definitely a treat, the beautiful Seaview together with the room size really makes 101 the best room of the house and I'm happy you enjoyed it.
