We visited this weekend and had a great time.
The staff are lovely, really friendly and accommodating! Our room (the Lewes Room) was clean and stylish- we especially liked the light up bed!
We have visited Brighton before and love the location of this hotel. Its not too far out of the centre and has great views of the West Pier.
Breakfast was amazing and again the staff in the restaurant are friendly and really helpful.
The only down side to this quirky hotel, is the Noise factor. As the hotel isnt the most modern, its very easy to be disturbed by people in the surrounding rooms at night. We had a very interrupted sleep on the first night due to the people above us having quite a loud argument in the middle of the night!
We will definitely return however and just bring ear plugs!

Thanks to all the staff,.

We stayed in the Pavilion Suite on the top floor. The views were astounding!
The room is a moderate size but the bed is large enough for two comfortably.
The bathroom is a spa bath which was a nice fun treat.
We only had breakfast in Smokey's but both thoroughly enjoyed what we ate.

We'll be back in the future!

Nice welcome from reception with a good key system.
We stayed in The Balcony Room for 1 night, the room was big & clean and the bathroom with the big bath looked welcoming, & amazing views over Brighton seafront.
There was a big pile of dirty sheets left in the room, and an ash tray on the balcony full of rain water and cigarette ends.
We popped down to reception twice to also borrow a DVD for the night, rang the bell and no answer.
Used the jacuzzi that evening and one of the covers from the jets fell off when turned on which then filled the bath with hair and gunk, bit of a passion killer! The toilet also made a loud noise every time you flushed.
Woken up at 5:30am by some bell alarm system.
The bed was comfy and the breakfast downstairs in Smokeys was delicious with great service.
Feel the hotel is missing that personal touch and needs some updating.

Stayed for 2 nights in the Japanese room on 3rd floor. Comfortable bed, good cotton bedding, great jacuzzi bath & fabulous views straight out to sea. The i360 is currently under construction across the road, completion due July 2016, but didn't particularly notice any noise. Staff really friendly. Nice little bar downstairs & absolutely great breakfasts!!

We have been beore, lovely staff could'nt get better, at reception Katie and Ed are really friendly and so helpful, last year Ed helped my daughter who had had a dilemma with another hotel, he was really good. We were there Friday the 22nd Jan 2016 for 4 nights, we met family there and had a wonderful time, the breakfasts are soooo good. top marks for the Chef, Marcella was a wee gem, so was the other girl but sorry did not get her name. All of the staff were really very good and very friendly (in the bar too). The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the housekeepers are good at there job, so well done.
I would highly recommend this hotel,

Room Tip: Brighton Bell, a twin room and the Beardsley also a good room.
