Very warm welcome on arrival. Booked the spacious second-floor Marina room, which had floor to ceiling windows that open properly and look out to stunning sea views. Floor in room appeared 'skewed' but that just added to the slightly shabby chic charm. Jacuzzi bath (with handheld shower attachment) didn't appear to be working as anything other than a normal bath but we didn't ask either so can't be sure. Comfy bed, crisp linens. Great breakfast (and staff) in the attached restaurant.
There was some refurbishment going on at the time but as we were out most of the day and night, this didn't affect us re noise etc. However, you can hear guests walking around in the rooms above (in our case, early morning) so if you're not a sound sleeper, either bring earplugs, as another reviewer has suggested, or book a top floor room.
If you're happy with comfortable charm, a great location and unpretentious yet quirky accommodation, this is ideal. Would definitely return.More
