What an amazing hotel this is. Everything from the room, staff and the food and drinks everything was brilliant.

This was the first time that my husband and I have visited Brighton and the staff here made our mini break. From their local recommendations and being attentive to any needs we had.

Before we had even left we booked to return again in February 2020

Everywhere there are photos of American stars and singers of years gone by. The whole building feels rickety and the stairs require careful navigation. The staff are very helpful, relaxed. If you must have your home comforts you'd probably be better off to go to a same old 5 star hotel. It's a question of attitude - something different or something predictable.

Fourth visit, and I'm still loving it. The staff are friendly and helpful, they really make you feel welcome. The breakfasts are still absolutely wonderful- the Full English is perfectly cooked and not greasy or heavy. This was my second stay in the Bowery Room, which I love (might not be suitable for taller people as there's a sloping roof, mind), and I've previously stayed in Do Knit Disturb and Vader's Quarters. The whole place is unique and brilliant and I hope they're in business for many years to come. See you guys soon!

Arrived at 2.30pm and parked at the Hilton over the road which was £7 for 24 hours.

Upon check in the lady was on the phone was a customer, she smiled and made us aware that she knew we were waiting, the downstairs bar area is really quirky and cute for anyone on her complaining and saying its seedy etc needs to do some research before they book!

We checked in which was very speedy and the lady on reception with pink hair was lovely! We had the Diana Dorrs room, the room was absolutely stunning and spotless, they had thought of everything to silk robes in the wardrobe to Curly Wurlys with the tea and coffee - I was also impressed that the TV had netflix!

We had a lovely view with a little park area and the beach too the side and the hotel was a easy walk to all the local attractions in Brighton.

My only one negative was the creaky floorboard and we could hear the person above whenever they moved but this didn't put us off as the room and the hotel was beautiful! We can't wait to come back again and try another room!

Room tip: The Diana Dorrs room is stunning!

Thanks so much for your glowing review :)

We agree there is a lovely view out onto Regency Square from the front of the hotel, including The Pin Up Parlour.

We are a 200 year old Regency building so sometimes creaky floor boards are unavoidable but I will pass on your comments to our maintenance manager and see if there is something that can be done.

We hope to see you in the future.
Warm wishes,
Alis & Tean
