Description: The Blue Man is a relaxed and informal Cafe-Bar with Brighton Soul and North African flavour. You can pop in for coffee (best in town!), Amazing selection of tea, a lovely wine list or a bit of food if you're hungry. We're chilled and informal and will make you feel very welcome. In the evening we host live events, acoustic nights, dancing, DJs and parties. Pop downstairs and feel a world away from the hustle and bustle in a haven that's a home away from home...

Want to get away from the usual pub fare? This is the place to visit. Delicious platters with humus, dips, pitta bread, haloumi cheese sausages etc.
The lamb tagine was not excellent though, but well worth a visit to this place.

Surprisingly good bar as in Main tourist drag from station.
Very cosy and friendly , decor tends to put off the beer monsters so a good relaxed crowd inside.
Loads of interesting North African related pics and ornaments on walls add to the great vibe inside .
Great place to go and chill , haven't tried food yet but heard it's very good .
Good hiding place from high street hordes.

Beautiful bar, alternative atmosphere you could be in another world. That is good in Brighton. Seats a bit uncomfortable but plenty to look at nice drinks etc., seats outside for a ciggie.

Visited with a group of friends whilst spending the weekend in Brighton. What a fabulous place! Funky décor covered in knick knacks and tea pots hanging on the ceiling. Cosy, friendly, fantastic food, so many great choices on the menu. After eating we enjoyed their awesome selection of boards games including coloured Jenga, Battleships and Back Gammon and just chilled.

What a great place! Tagine in a boozer! It couldn't go wrong as far as I was concerned. Staff were great, very friendly. Had the lamb tagine and the Malbec, both beautiful. And two delightful young ladies asked me if I'd ever stuffed a puffin, which only added to the experience.
