I have stayed at this hotel several times now, but this time was particularly good. I explained to the manager I needed a bright quiet room as I had a lot of work to do and he duly obliged. It was a large room with two sets of windows, which opened ( always a plus for me). The work space was really good and WiFi excellent. The bed was comfortable, room clean and good strong hot shower. A bonus for me is the fridge, I always make full use of a fridge. I will be back

Room tip: Back rooms probably quieter but not as bright

Comfortable bed, large room in a quiet part of the hotel. Good breakfast with range of food. Disappointing that there was no scope to make cups of tea. Would have preferred a cheap electric kettle plus a few sachets of coffee or tea, as in most hotels. A minor point: it was great to have a hair dryer in the room, but there was no socket near a plug, making it hard to use effectively!

Room tip: Try to avid the west side. There can be noise from clubs & early morning deliveries to supermarkets.

Good little hotel in Brighton. Rooms were clean and tidy, fridge in room. No air con or fan so could get hot. WiFi in public areas.
Breakfast options good. Staff friendly and helpful. Small lobby area with WiFi. Close to shops. bars, restraunts

Our stay at Britannia Study Hotel was lovely. The staff were friendly and approachable, the room was clean and reasonably priced, check in/check out was quick and easy. We arrived a few hours before check in and were allowed to go to our room early to store our luggage which was a nice surprise, when we got into the room we were taken aback by how clean and well laid out it was. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the facilities good. Overall, the room was fantastic, the location is perfectly central and the value for money is great.

However, outside of our window was some sort of ventilation/cooling unit which was incredibly loud and came on intermittently all day and night, and was loud even with the windows shut. Lack of AC in the middle of June did not help the situation as we needed the windows open through the night. A stand-fan was provided but we were unsure about leaving it on through the night.

Facilities in the room were good, sockets by the beds is always good and a desk and chair were provided. However, the chair was stained and so we decided not to use it. This is the only place where the cleanliness slipped.
