Never stayed at a Jurys Inn so had no idea what to expect. It was well above our expectations. Quality environment, comfortable large room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Conveniently located in centre of town and everything within walking distance. Food was also very good. Will definitely use again.

The hotel reception staff were very friendly and nothing asked for was too much - The breakfast staff went above and beyond their duties to accommodate everything we asked for. Overall a very satisfying comfortable and relaxing stay. Will certainly be recommending this hotel and I hope to return here again soon.

Generally a pleasant stay. Notify reception on booking in if you want to charge food / drinks to your room as this has to be pre-authorised. Rooms are comfortable. Selection for the breakfast buffet was extensive. Be aware that parking at the station opposite is expensive - c£22 for overnight parking. If you're heading into the city centre for drinks / food prepare for a 20 min walk which is uphill on the way back! All in all good value for money.

Our daughter had suggested Jurys inn as it was very close to the train station and her art exhibition. We arrived just after 3.00pm and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of accommodation. Previously I had used b&b venues which whilst ok could be further out of the city than I would have liked.

Although initially put off by the lack of hotel parking, the train station parking is right across the road and the hotel is in a great location for accessing all the city centre shops etc (walking through the train station). A glitch with our free newspaper was promptly sorted out on our first morning with a member of the reception staff team going out to fetch one - within 15 mins it was at our door (thank you!). The rooms was clean, had plenty of space and a very comfy bed & pillows. The room's air-conditioning/heating and ability to open windows wide enough meant it was very comfortable in that you could set your own temperature. Nice quiet location. Breakfast was fresh, with plenty to offer and although it was exceptionally busy from 9-10am (as you may expect on a weekend), food was replenished quickly. Three very enjoyable nights spent here and would happily return. Well done to all the staff for making it a great experience.
