Visited twice whilst in the area.
Family enjoyed burgers whilst I chose the Cypriot specials.
Good to have the option to sit in the spacious outside area.

This year it’s difficult to get out to Greece but we had an excellent Greek meal at the William the Conqueror pub in Rye harbour, it was sunny and warm too so we could really pretend.
Apparently the owner is a Cypriot and she has brought the best ingredients, menus and cooking skills from her homeland.
I wanted to give five stars but we dropped a star because we were aware of two tables nearby struggling with the wonderful Greek menu which offered very little choices of classic English pub grub, so we dropped a star, however our meal was without doubt five star.
Friendly and efficient bar staff delivered our drinks and food very quickly.
No complaints from us, already looking forward to returning and trying something else on the menu.

We stumbled across this pub after a bike ride. We were lucky to get an inside table as it was a busy day. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was nice. It’s not amazing, it’s just standard family friendly fare at a reasonable price - exactly what we wanted. We all had burgers but the Cypriot options on the menu looked lovely, something to try next time.

Great pub. Good service. Used the app. Kids had chicken goujons- lovely hand cut strips of breast freshly fried in homemade batter. Not frozen mass produced things. Was hoping to finish their leftovers but no such luck, they loved them. We had mixed plate and the prawns were really delicious.

Recommended by a friend, we booked this via email and received a confirmation via email for 1800 hours the following evening. A lovely Summers day meant that all the outside tables were very busy and on entering we were shown our table and made our drinks orders. Having received these, we made our food order - a mixed starter to share and then fresh fish and chips x3 along with a burger for the youngest. Staff were kept very busy by passing trade and our mains turned up steaming hot and ready to eat. We pointed out that we had yet to receive our starter but opted to take the mains whilst the starter was then delivered a couple of minutes later. Lovely food and clean plates all around. The kids went for the ice cream sundaes with a chocolate spoon, and soon polished those off as well. Settling up we then went to walk some of all those calories off, quite a lot of the outside tables were being attacked by the ever present seagulls so if anything, more staff would be needed during busy periods!!
