Very excited about the prospect of getting married here until shocking customer experience. After arranging a meeting with the manager to discuss a wedding, we turned up at appointed time for her not to be there and the staff non the wiser to who we were. No call prior and no apology afterwards. Gave her the benefit of the doubt, as still really liked the venue so arranged a 2nd viewing with the manager. Lasted 15min in terms of a viewing and her "selling the venue" to me. My partner still loved it, so we asked if could look at quote and have some answers to some questions, stated need this promptly as we had other venues on hold. Had to chase for a response, again and we were promised to have some details sent through the same day. That was over two weeks ago and even now no response. Had to send an email to convey our huge disappointment, to eventually get an acceptable acknowledgement and apology and inviting us to give them a second chance. So we gave the olive branch back to meet up again and guess what...no response!! They have no experience of weddings, the last one apparently being in 2014. All I can say is don't waste your time viewing, there is no concept of customer service or selling the idea of a wedding experience, which is such a shame, as the venue could really be something for a wedding, but with a manager who seems inept at events management I would stay well clear rather than risk a wedding disaster!
