Called here for afternoon tea on a busy Monday at lunchtime. We were seated within two minutes, spotted the classic afternoons tea for two people priced at £29.90. We opted for ginger beer rather than a hot drink and that soon arrived.
After a wait of 10 minutes,The tea arrived on a traditional tier of 3 plates with beautiful sandwiches, an assortment of 4 cakes and two fruit scones with jam and clotted cream.
We soon eat the sandwiches followed by the fruit scones, we asked for a box to take the cakes home, duly arrived and we were off to pay in the ship.
Toilets were upstairs which makes it difficult for me as I'm disabled.
We thought the tea was good value and pleasant.
Well worth a try.
