On a visit from the IOW to see my sister on a rough day with no real plans we came across this museum. We paid under £5.00 each and spent 2 hours enjoying seeing and hearing all the very interesting rooms and objects on view . Some of these things brought back memories for us oldies but there were many for children to learn from and costumes around for them to try on . We did not use the restaurant but on a sunny day it faces onto the knot garden and the toilets clean and nearby , was a pretty area.

My husband and I toured the Tudor House which we found to be very interesting. We spoke with a couple people who work at the house who were quite informative. Glad the house was saved so those of us today can enjoy touring it.

Been to see the Tudor House Museum - found it very interesting & quite a gem in the old part of Southampton & gives you a good idea what life was like through the ages. Worth visiting - nice garden too which gives you an idea of what sort of things were grown for healing etc

Lovely museum house that you can walk around and lots for children to play with, try on etc. Highly recommended if you want to use up and hour or two and is part of the city wall walk. Lots to see in the surrounding area.
