On Friday the 11th of December at 6.30pm, my partner and I went for a meal and a few drinks. We both had the £7.99 8oz steak with chips. The steak was absolutely beautiful, in fact, the whole experience was just so fantastic. The Barleycorn has a lovely cosy feel and the staff are brilliant and who ever cooked that steak deserves a medal and take part in MasterChef.

Post lockdown #2. First day back at the pub. Excellent Covid system still in place at this pub/restaurant. Service with a smile and enjoyed my all day breakfast. Impressed with the paper menus and attached voucher as well. Great job by Daisy, Karen, Tina and Andy.

A lovely reception from all the staff, seated without pre booking. Drinks served and ample time to peruse the menu. Warm and friendly service from all the ladies and gents there. Tina, on service maintained a great balance between being available but not an overbearing presence. Would definitely recommend a visit!
