traditional food executed to perfection, portions are huge and presented so lovely. I hardy have a desert but the food was really gorgeous so i had to try the pudding too. Of course I wasn't disappointed. Staff is very kind, natural, open and helpful. One of waitress suggested to take a deal which was meal 45 minute punt tour. I was so appreciate for this offer. I did not want to go to punt tour at my original plans but it was sooo great experience! Also the restaurant itself is such a little lovely place, so wonderfully decorated. I hope I will back there again

On a busy Sunday in Canterbury staff were keen and happy to serve. Food was good, hearty and great value. Service quick and surroundings traditional and pleasing. Its location on the river also provides an excellent vantage.

The service was swift and the staff were pleasant but there wasn't very much choice for vegetarians. I opted for the vegetables in Yorkshire pudding and was surprised to see 3 Yorkshire's rather than one large one, which did not taste home made. The vegetable middle was rather disappointing. On the other hand the beef pie for our non vegetarian was delicious. The restaurant was crammed with historical items which were in keeping with the building.

Good location in the Canterbury's centre. The pub looks very nice indoor and outdoor and is on the river. The food was excellent! Good staff and good prices.
