Lovely weekend Break location in Canterbury.
Central location, maybe too central for my liking.
Quite noisy at night being on the main strip of the high street. Would come back. Staff very accomadating.

Room was the 2nd most expensive that I had spend time to save for. The windows would boot open even just a tad and they were very dirty. The shower lights were old and looked like they would fall out and one wasn’t working very well. The roll top bath looks amazing but the water took ages and was lukewarm. The breakfast service was slow and they kept forgetting items.

We had a 2 night stay and booked a Most Enviable type room. It was very spacious as was the bathroom and well equipped. Car parking costs £18 per day! Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast choice was excellent and the food came quickly and was well cooked. We ate in the County restaurant one night. Food very good as was service. The hotel is ideally situated for sightseeing. I booked and paid in advance and so got a good rate, I think the overall cost was very good value. If you order toasted sandwiches in the Champagne bar, one between two is plenty as the portion is huge. Vert tasty! And,,,,they serve Nyetimber by the glass, An excellent English “champagne”. I would definitely recommend staying at the Abode.
