As I said earlier the beds are sprung beds are a bit uncomfortable if your used to foam or latest type of mattress, because the windows are not double glazed (being a older house ) it does get a bit chilly at night, the breakfast is to die for and such good service you can have continental breakfast mixed with a full English that you order the night before and it’s cooked to perfection and as you want it on the table, we left our car in the car park small if a normal day unfortunate for us yesterday as I stated it was graduation day so all hotels and car parking spaces where full you don’t need a car if you just want to explore the city it’s a 10 minute walk to the town we went into town again Saturday it wasn’t as busy as Friday so made a nice walk if you have a dog there are certain parts of the city that that are more congested than others so mind how you go with the dog there are some restaurants and coffee places that are dog friendly which as we had a dog was nice
going back to the hotel we were on top floor if you have a bigger dog it might be better to book a room on ground floor as higher up more steps to take your dog out if the need to go out the minus point of an old house like this at night you can hear every step of people going to thier room and doors opening and closing not good to disturb you or your dog barking at noise outside lastly the service and way you were treated by the young staff was excellent the breakfast was excellent the rooms were good just that it’s an older hotel and few bits were a bit tired and creakyMore
