Fantastic hotel in the centre of Canterbury, in walking distance to local attractions such as the Cathedral, Castle ruins (closed at present), The old Tower, Westgate Gardens and the River Stour.
The hotel and restaurant staff were extremely friendly and helpful, rooms had a good comfy bed and lovely pillows for a great nights sleep. Good amenities in the room and throughout the hotel. Breakfast is included which is buffet style and had everything you could wish for including a waffle maker machine which was very popular. The Socialite rooftop bar next door (with great views of the Cathedral and surrounding area), offered amazing cocktails (2 for 1 between 4-7 Mon to Thurs) and bar food as well as a more substantial restaurant.

A super comfortable hotel, ideal for a short break base. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family and would certainly use again if in the area.

Parking Tip: Use Canterbury East Train Station which is a 7 minute easy walk to the hotel and MUCH cheaper than City Centre parking. It was so easy.

Lovely hotel comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was perfect will definitely stay again. Can get noisy on the high street when pubs kick out but will ask for a room at the back of the hotel next time because I am a light sleeper
