We stopped off at Lucia's to pick up some sandwiches and cake for our walk in the fells. The chap was very friendly, interested in where we were going, etc. We picked up a couple of coffees as well - and discovered to our delight that we didn't have to carry the empties around as there is a bin right next to Goody Bridge on the way to Easedale.
Come lunchtime, we tucked into a cheese and chutney baguette that was exactly what we needed; the flapjack and tiffin that followed was some of the best I've had.
And all from probably the world's smallest coffee shop - you'd need a mammal much smaller than a cat to swing around inside it, hence it's takeaway only.
The only pity is that they didn't have any of their brownie this time.
