Popped in for drinks and a few bits from the shop.
The tea room is very busy with a good selection of snacks and delicious caked.
The farm shop has a good range of meats, pies, bread, cakes and home made produce

Working farm, shop and cafe where you can watch the cows being milked. We were nearly stranded there when diverted traffic from an expressway crash locked up all taxis in nearby Kendal- the farm owner was kind enough to offer to drive us to the rail station!!

After being recommend by friends we called in as status never again. Unfriendly atmosphere staff looked so miserable and lacked people skills. To cluttered bread uncovered ever walking past coughing, sneezing, flicking hair then handling the products. So definitely a no for me to buy also very expensive.

This is a great place to stop for coffee and also lunch and cakes. The bonus of this place is that downstairs is a large farm shop. Lift upstairs to the coffee shop. If you go in the afternoon you can also watch the cows being milked. 'Raw' milk also available here.

Sizergh Barn is clearly very popular, and you can understand why. The food shop is excellent and has a wide selection of fresh foods, bakery and other foodstuffs.

Upstairs there is a decent clothing and gift shop as well as a cafe; and downstairs there is a gallery area with books and more giftware. The cafe was pretty busy when we were there, so I'm unable to review it.

The car park was similarly busy, and bearing in mind that this was on a Friday in March, I can't imagine how they cope in peak summer months.
