The hotel is clean and comfortable in a gorgeous old historic Cumbrian building. We had a very comfortable bed and the breakfast was excellent. The welcome was warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The location is fantastic, being a short walk from Keswick but in a quiet and peaceful spot. Walks and hills are easily accessible and the pretty village of Grasmere a 20 minute drive.

It's in an excellent location, only 10/15 min walk into town. Lovely old victorian building with great views of Skiddaw. Room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Hosts were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast's included in the price, there was a good selection, and the full English breakfast wasn't greasy. Basically, I'll gladly stay there again!

Room Tip: Email the hotel for specific information.

Great location about 10 minutes walk from town centre. Cooks Room at very top of hotel comfortable and surprising spacious. Bathroom quite nice and very clean but bath only. Beautiful peaceful garden outlook.

Host very welcoming and breakfast was excellent. Very quiet. Would definitely recommend.

I have recently returned from a weekend trip to the Lairbeck hotel and I can not recommend it enough!

The location is ideal for any lake goer in that it's in such a tranquil location but is also only a 10 minute walk from the town centre.

The rooms, owners, and breakfast were all fantastic and made myself and my partner feel very welcomed throughout our stay.

If anyone is looking for a place to stay in Keswick. Lairbeck Hotel is the answer.

Had a 3 night stay with wife and parents in this wonderful hotel, both rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable, the owners Malcolm & Jennifer as well as the staff are extremely friendly and we felt we were treat like friends rather than customers, the breakfasts were absolutely lovely, proper good home cooking with a varied choice and good portions, nothing seamed like a trouble. The building is maintained to a very high standard with lots of period features, lovely views and is only a short walk from the wonderful Pheasant pub. You can certainly tell they are proud of their hotel and high standards, we'd certainly recommend it to anyone, we're definately looking forward to a return visit.
