Avoid this restaurant!!!!!! We were a party of 10 inc 4 children. We ordered drinks from our waiter who referred to everybody as 'Mate' and looked like he was on a young offenders rehabilitation program. Whilst we were being served other customers were complaining about their food taking so long and another member of staff was quizzing the waiter about a mistake he had made...infront of us! Our food was actually quite quick but I suspect it was due to another party walking out and us getting their order. We daren't ask for 3 bills as suspected this would be beyond the staffs brain capabilities.
The Bill arrived (hand written on a piece of lined paper).....it was at that point we discovered that half a coke cost...wait for it......£2.50!!!!! and a pint of coke was £5.00!!!! OMG!!! we weren't in Covent garden!!!! We always used to visit this retaurant when it was Mr Fu's but we will NEVER go there again! Total rip off!!!!!

We were a family of 6 visiting with a family of 3 and asked for separate bills. The bill for the 3 was correct, our bill had all our food and all theit food on it. When we queried it one particular waitress had a disgusting attitude towards us and was reluctant to accept that it was wrong. The soft drinks were incredibly overpriced, as was the food. Two communal bowls of rice arrived at the table followed veryslowly by the main courses, some arrived 20 minutes before others, some were the wrong dishes which meant an even longer wait. The quality of the meat was appalling, the cheapest of the cheap. The toilet roll ran out in the ladies, we asked for more and after a 5 minute wait were given quarter of a toilet roll. This was a terrible meal at a ridiculously high price. I would never eat here again.

Was quite disappointed with this place, which used to be much better in years gone by.

Our beers were served from small (275ml) bottles, one of which wasn't chilled so came with ice. Only Fosters seemed to be on tap.

Atmosphere was some way below par. There were quite a few small flies in the restaurant which was offputting to say the least. Whilst the music kept skipping and we witnessed a couple of staff having a minor altercation. Surprisingly for a Chinese we didn't see any Chinese staff around!

It's a shame because, with the exception of the rice, the food was adequate. Likewise the location is good for the pleasure beach and big blue. All in all then I'd classify this place as a bit of a wasted potential.

Don't ever eat here. I know that when people write reviews, people who read them usually think that they over reacting but on this occasion it is honestly the worst restaurant i have ever been in. We went to Blackpool for the weekend, and we made the mistake of eating here on the saturday night. We ordered three courses with rice and drinks. The meals were overcooked and tasted disgusting, the rice was burnt and the drinks which were £2.50 each tasted like cheap coke or panda pops. When we complained to the waiter he told the manager what we had said, to which, we could hear the manager shouting with every other word, a swear word as well as being extremely aggresive towards us. I have never ever had service in a restaurant like this, it was like walking onto the set of one flew over the cuckoos nest. This restaurant should be closed down with a health and safety warning outside.

I visited this restaurant on 24/10/09, it took over 10 minutes for our drinks to arrive and 25 minutes for the starter plates to be cleared away and this was only after we had been to ask if our main courses were ever going to arrive. When they did arrive they came one at a time with a 5 minute gap between each one and the food was horrible. The chicken chow mein tasted like bisto gravy and the presentation was disgusting. Other tables were also complaining and one walked out after the starter. The staff would not make eye contact they just kept running past but seemed to be doing nothing. There is only one male and one female toilet so there was always at least one person waiting. Just a horrible experience please do not eat here.
