First big advantage is the free parking here on the premises, which is few and far between in Blackpool.

We went when the pleasure beach was closed so the accommodation is particularly quiet at this time of year.

Stayed in room 329; absolutely spotless with considerate and caring staff, with excellent condiment selection.

Room comes with useful literature on attractions in Blackpool and the hotel itself.

Air con system in the room a welcome feature which makes the room extra comfortable.

Friendly front of house staff.

Rightfully proud of their image and facility here and that shows with the little touches with the logo on: cups, hot chocolate etc.

Comfortable bed and lovely pillows.

Overall an excellent stay and looking forward to a second visit in a few weeks.

Our new hotel of choice in Blackpool.

Stayed here for two nights 27/28 November in a group of six.
Hotel is very very good. Rooms are huge and extremely comfortable.
Breakfast is buffet style and there is plenty to choose from.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Stayed sat and Sunday, got great deal and lovely room on ground floor. Spotless room, great facilities,
Comp entrance to Pleasure Beach (no rides included!)...breakfast excellent, busy as usual, but well managed and plenty of food. Comfy beds and excellent staff....the only place I will stay in Blackpool!

Just stayed another 3 nights at the Big Blue hotel and cannot fault it ! The staff are always helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them! We stayed in a premier room and it was wonderful! The food is first class! Have no qualms in recommending this hotel to everyone!

I booked the deluxe suite as a surprise for my wife n WOW !!! we weren't disappointed.Free bottle of wine,tea/coffee making facilities with plenty of milk n sugar, two big tv's,dvd player, fire, living room etc etc The bed was massive and very comfortable, obviously with it been the suite there was plenty of room and it was extremely clean and tidy.
The bathroom and shower were of a very high standard with an extensive range of complimentary toiletries.
Breakfast the next morning was very good, tasty and fresh, yes we had to wait 5 minutes to be seated but that wasn't a problem at all.The waitress took us to our table and explained everything to us about what we needed to do as it was our 1st time in the hotel (although it won't be our last ) No complaints at all about breakfast and my wife and I both enjoyed it.
The only regret we had was not checking in earlier than we did as we would have liked to eat dinner in their restaurant but it was all ready fully booked-even though we didn't check in until 2pm;oh well I feel another trip is due
Over all an outstanding hotel and we had a fantastic weekend with The Big Blue Hotel playing a big part in that.
