My partner and I have just returned from a really great weekend in Blackpool, staying at the Jesmond Dene. The landlady Diane, and her hubby Ron made us welcome straight away with a cuppa, and then Ron guided me to their car park. Free parking in Blackpool? Unheard of! But the car was super-safe, and we were really chuffed with that. The guest house is well equipped, with a room for kiddies to play, a bar for the grown ups and a large nicely decorated dining room. Our room, whilst not huge, was well planned with a good size bathroom, nice comfy bed, nice linen and soft towels, flat screen TV and good selection of hot drinks. Spotlessly clean throughout, Diane clearly works very hard at keeping a nice home. Our compliments too, to Ron's chefing skills, producing delicious English breakfasts with the nicest bacon we've ever had!
We will be back, we can really recommend the Jesmond Dene - the owners are two of the nicest folk you could ever meet. Thank you.

My partner and myself stayed here for five nights B&B. We had booked room 4, when we got there we were shown to room 2 which was a much bigger room for us, which was a nice surprise since we were staying for five nights! On arrival we were greeted by Di who offered us a drink after our journey which was very welcome! Then Di helped us with our luggage up to our room etc. The Jesmond Dene was situated in a nice quiet street just of the main promenade and just two mins or less from St Chads tram stop so was brilliant! You were close enough to walk easily along to the main attractions but the tram was very useful if you wanted to do less walking!! Couldn't fault anything about this place, the option of cooked breakfast everyday, friendly, helpful owners and nothing was too much trouble, first time in Blackpool and would definitely recommend the Jesmond Dene to anyone, great value and would return again, overall a gem!

On arrival we received a very warm welcome with a nice cup of tea. The BB was very clean with lovely white towels and bed linen. Free Wi-Fi in your room which was handy to keep the kids entertained on their pads, also a computer lounge with internet and Xbox which my 2 teenager's enjoyed using as well. It was very good of Diane to move our rooms around so we were in the next room to our children. The breakfast was lovely that kept us going till tea time. Nice quite street with a 10 minute walk to either the tower or pleasure beach. Thanks to Diane and Ron for your hospitality. Kay, Dave, Kallum and Amy.
