We needed a hotel / B&B to stay at whilst dropping off our son at Uni. We thought a quick trip to include the illuminations, would make a nice break.

From the minute we appeared at the front door to the moment we left Roy and Tina, were perfect hosts. The room was perfectly clean, tidy and well situated for a remarkably quiet nights sleep. The breakfasts were of a very high standard and more than enough.
The bar was very useful for a night cap, the tram stop was very close, giving good access to the town and piers.
Roy and Tina, "it was great we'll be back not only as a stop over but probs as an access to the surrounding country side".

Room Tip: A phone call, is best.

Decided on a last minute break to Blackpool to see the lights. Stumbled across the Middleton online. Fantastic little b and b away from the crowds on the North Shore. With plenty if on road parking. Room was very clean and a good breakfast in the morning.

What can I say that other recent reviewers have commented on, but take my word they have all given an honest opinion of The Middleton. We as a family went to Blackpool as a big surprise for our grandson's 7th birthday, and had originally booked into another b/b for 3 nights, 16th-19th August but later told us they were overbooked - and what a stroke of luck that was! The hosts, Roy and Tina can't do enough for you - they only took over The Middleton 6 months ago, and its obvious that they have spent a lot of time and money to reach the high standard of this establishment. Spotlessly clean, beautiful en-suite bedroom, comfortable bed, tea/coffee, flat screen t/v, and wow, what a breakfast is served up - choose your preference the night before and its cooked to your specifications, or alternatively a good selection of cereals are on offer. Roy is the perfect "mine host" in his bar - at reasonable prices. Both Roy and Tina made a bit of a fuss for our grandson's birthday which was warmly appreciated (Roy's mother also celebrated her birthday the same day) so it was heart warming for both families. For anyone going to Blackpool you won't get a better place than The Middleton. We will definitely return as we now consider Roy and Tina as friends. So thanks for your hospitality and hope to see you both again soon.

Room Tip: We had room 6 which is excellent. Daughter, son-in-law and grandson in family room next door
