Just stayed for the weekend. No reason at all to complain. Breakfast was gorgeous and hot served to us every morning. Room was great and Slept like a baby. Bed was so comfy. Spent some time in the bar area with Sandra and Dave. Lovely people. Hotel was very clean and owners were very welcoming. Thanks for a lovely weekend.

This is my second stay at the cresta in Blackpool.

As before I couldn't fault our stay here. We stayed in a small double and the room was comfortable and tasteful. Tea and coffee facilities available in room, excellent quality bedding and towels, free WiFi, lots of storage and very very clean. Someone previously said there were signs of rodents and I would sign a legal document to state this is utter bollocks. The rooms are immaculate and I never saw so much as a speck of dust. There is another comment about having to Re use yesterday's towel. This is clearly stated in the welcome pack and one would presume it is to cut down on waste and washing. It must be very costly to the owners having to wash 20-30 towels diary as well as time consuming and for the price your paying I don't see how you could complain about towels being replaced every other day. One more thing I would like to state is the comments about the hotel smelling like dogs. It does not. The owners have two dogs that are kept in their private living quarters and not given roam of the public part of the hotel, you can see the dogs through a baby gate from the bar so I can only presume some single minded person saw the dogs and took offence. What some people should realise is that Dave and Sandra live here and have the right to do or have whoever they want in their own home. Breakfast was hot, devious and great variety. The whole hotel is tastefully decorated. Dave and Sandra are really down to earth, funny and friendly people. Dave has a great sense of humour and jokes about, but has never once seriously mentioned he wants out like someone said. He is very proud of running this hotel for over ten years and passionate about having a lovely hotel. They do a fantastic job and cannot do enough for guests. If you respect them and their home & business, they will respect you! I can't wait to come back. The hotel is in a great location near pleasure beach, sandcastle and south pier.

Just stayed at The Cresta Hotel, Blackpool, lovely, clean hotel with free parking, right near the pleasure beach, the breakfast was amazing and Sandra and Dave were lovely and couldn't of been more accommodating, our toddler has a Dairy Intolerance and they went out their way to buy safe bread etc for his breakfast. Thanks very much for your hospitality, next time we are in Blackpool we will definitely be coming to stay. 😄

This is my personal opinion since there are lots of good reviews.

Not much was discussed during check-in, only the keys were handed over. Room was clean and alright.

Like I mentioned this could be a one off experience but I honestly thought it would be a great place to stay based on reviews here but bit disappointed by what I experienced.

Hopefully others have a better experience.
