We paid for an executive room, the room for nice enough and clean. We had some drinks in our fridge, x2 Pepsi Max's, a sparkling and a still water which was nice to have. Also pods of coffee and maker. We had a room facing the wheel and could see docks and the river which was nice. We also had dressing gowns and slippers, the dressing gowns did feel a bit like a really old rough towel though unfortunatley.
The staff were friendly and polite.
It was a good positioned hotel, close to everything.
But for the money we paid, I wasn't really impressed.
- The bed was really uncomfortable, I kept waking up with bad back and its still hurting now.
- We couldn't order room service some technical issue to get in contact with the restautant, not sure why they couldn't have physically gone and asked, although i'm glad because the prices were silly. We only wanted 2 scoops of icecream each at £7 and then £6 on top for room service for one time is ridiculous.
- The sinks and bath are so low.
- For the size of the hotel, the breakfast part is silly, the cooked breakfast is in the smallest trays ever, can get about 8 eggs in it and then has to be replaced. The food was quite cold.
- The womens toilets downstairs were outdated in comparison to the rest of the hotel and locks were broken on 2 of the toilets.
Won't be returning.
