Came here for an anniversary weekend anyway. Rooms are not bad but there is a connecting door and you can hear every single thing next door is saying. This does not help when you have someone next door that has been to a rave. I haven’t had a spec of sleep and neither did the guy next door - I could even hear him breathing! Not worth staying here, especially without ear plugs. Spoiled a nice weekend away in a lovely city.

Overall we had an enjoyable stay at the very well located Atlantic Tower hotel. Situated on a busy main road (which we never heard) right next to the Liver Building, we found the staff were excellent, very helpful and were eager to help. When I arrived and found a small issue with the room (nothing major) the lad on the reception gave me another room and situated all our party together. Rooms were a good size to, bed was comfy and the big TV was a nice touch. Plenty of tea and coffee also. Only reason why this isn't a 5* review was because the carpets in the rooms were quite badly stained in places and there was a few other signs of general wear and tear in the rooms and around the building.

However, we feel this place is excellent value for money and highly recommended.

Great service, lovely hot, fresh, delicious food at vista restaurant. Mike and Nat v. accommodating, friendly and professional. Buffalo wings were very fresh, tender but crispy, fish was cooked perfectly and gammon also delicious, used tastecard without a problem, great value!

The hotel was in a great location. The view from the room was very nice overlooking the river. The room was very small and the bathroom was absolutely tiny. When the room was “refreshed” the next day, it was done very poorly, no bins changed, only one towel left and the bed wasn’t made at all.

Room tip: Only. 10 minute walk from the bus
