Who would have thought that the chef could further enhance the quality of his cooking after the delights of his eponymously named restaurant with its confined spaces and rough edges. What a contrast now that he is established in this most swanky location. The cooking is much more refined, not out of place here. No expense spared on the furnishings, and the large teams at the welcome desk, service sections and in the kitchens. You do pay for it though in Above. It's worth it except it would be a more pleasant experience if it were a little less regimented and some of the staff took themselves a little less seriously.
