We stayed here last year when visiting London for a short break. Couldn't fault this modern hotel. Bed was very comfortable, concierge helpful and just a few minutes walk to London Eye. Will be choosing Park Plaza again next time we visit the capital.

Thanks Nicola H for your review. We look forward to seeing you later this year!

Why not visit during the Diamond Jubilee, great events will be held all along the Southbank during this special time. Keep an eye on the Park Plaza website for any special offer.

Booked this hotel on Late rooms as a surprise for my husband's birthday. We stayed in the superior atrium facing room which was lovely, could see Big Ben from the window, just!. Spotlessly clean, modern and an extremely comfortable and large bed. I mentioned we were staying as a birthday surprise and there was a delicious chocolate cake and card left in our room. Friends were arriving the following day as a surprise and they accomodated us in an adjacent room. The staff were all very polite and efficient.Booked room only but then offered breakfast as £12 per person when we checked it. Drinks at the hotel bar were a bit dear, but probably just London prices. The live band on the Friday night were excellent.Cannot fault this hotel, a really enjoyable stay in a great location. Will hopefully be back.

Room Tip: Higher rooms probably offer better view of South Bank

Grand Central Station poor check-in stand in line unfriendly staff, hotel has over a 1000 rooms, everything else works though, close to Westminster, but souless and lacks any character, if character and more friendly service is what you like when you come to England choose somewhere else..

Dear ByronEdinburgh,

Thank you for your review, although it is disappointing to read following the numerous reviews complementing our style and character, as well as being listed as one of the Trendiest Hotels 2012 by Tripadvisor reviewers.

However, I have noted your comments re. check-in and will certainly continue in our endeavours to reduc our check in times.

Thank you.

I booked this hotel for a series of corporate events across four days with travellers from all over the world and stayed there myself. As a corporate booker for 20 years, this tops my list. The views over Westminster are amazing, the close proximity to the famous sights of London and two tube stations makes it easy to get to and around the city. The hotel itself is about two years old so very modern and contemporary and looks fantastic when lit up at night. Bedrooms have great facilities including a proper iron, ironing board and hairdryer. Batooms have a separate shower cubicle and bath with the best toiletries provided including bath salts. Room rates (under £200 per night inc breakfast) are excellent value for money considering the location and style of the hotel in comparison to the tired old chain hotels the other side of the river. Service was exceptional. With a large number of delegates to get through breakfast I was worried we would be queing but this did not happen. The hotel has a great atmosphere and presents the wow factor as soon as you arrive. All staff were friendly and helpful and always smiling and genuinely seemed pleased to help. Concierge services were professional and will look after luggage, help you load/unload your cars and even assist with restaurant bookings outside of the hotel if you wish or organise taxis. In fact the experience was so fantastic that I am in the process of booking for a further visit with my family. Having stayed/vetted several London hotels, I cannot recommend Park Plaza Westminster enough. If you are looking to book for a corporate event then you will not be disappointed. The hotel has its own in house AV service team who provide an outstanding service and will help make your event run without a hitch. Conference facilities have clearly been well thought through and designed to give a professional setting for any event. Anything we asked for was dealt with promptly. In most cases we didnt even have to ask. Water on tables was checked at every break and automatically topped up. The catering service was excellent with wonderfully presented food and refreshments at break times. Simply a fabulous hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms looking directly out of the front of the hotel or rooms looking into the atrium will give you views over Westmnster however rooms on higher floors at the back of the hotel will also give views across other parts of London allowing you to pick out famous buildings on the skyline.

Dear HarleyDavidson1996,

What a great review, thank you very much!

It’s really pleasing when we get it right throughout our service delivery. I have shared your review with the whole team, and I’m sure it will continue to motive us all to ensure all guests enjoy their stay as much (if not more!) than you did.

Thank you.

Nice new hotel in a perfect location and one of few in the city that is family friendly. We stayed with our two kids (16 and 4 ) and got a nice family suite with connecting room at no extra charge. Rooms are spacious and tidy, nice elegant bathroom with bathtub and shower. The only problem was the thin walls and loud neighbours. You can hear a TV playing next room which can be very disturbing specially if it continues all night long. Traditional English and continental breakfast is offered in one of several dining halls. Spacious pool , gym hall and even spa. Several restaurants, coffee place and bar. Almost perfect except the service. At few occasions I noticed that foreign staff is very rude. They judge you by the cloth, so coming in T-shirt and jeans you are treated below expectations .Another obstacle was the we had breakfast included and it was not possible to get an "early bird" departure pack, which should be offered as a standard considering many flights departing London at early hour and distance to airports from hotel.

Otherwise excellent location with few steps from London Aquarium, London Eye, Westminster Bridge, Big Ben and Houses of Parliament. Lots of nice small restaurants and bards in the neighbourhood makes makes it convenient to dine out. London Waterloo railway station is located some 5 mins walk (watch out if you carry a heavy language as it can be troublesome), however Westminster is the closest Tube station.

Definitely come back and home the service will improve !

Dear Lilind,

Thank you for your review.

Our location is indeed perfect! But I’m sorry that our service was not. I apologise if it appeared that certain guests were given preferential treatment.

As always, your review has been shared with the team as feedback, whether positive or negative, will certainly help us improve.

We hope you get to experience soon.

Thank you.
