I had the chance to stay at The Savoy in May 2018. I was immensely impressed by the service from the moment of checking in. I loved the personalized check-in experience which allowed me to sit at a desk and speak to a staff member who took the time to explain details of my package, restaurants, services, etc.
Another impressive service was the ability to Text or send an SMS to staff for booking reservations, setting a time for turn down service, etc. Basically, i was able to book three reservations simply by sending a text to the number i was provided.
The concierge staff (and all staff in general) are outstanding. The are simply the best and in a class of their own. I really enjoyed talking with them and they were able to get us last minute tickets (awesome seats) to Hamlet at Shakespeare's Globe and last minute tickets to The Chelsea Flower Show.
I was lucky enough to get a reservation for afternoon tea at Thames Foyer. If you are an afternoon tea connoisseur, the Thames Foyer afternoon tea is not to be missed. I have also tried the afternoon tea at Fortnum and Mason and liked it, but i would say the experience at Thames Foyer has raised my expectations.
The breakfasts at Kaspar's were outstanding and the food was delicious.Overall, I truly enjoyed my experience at The Savoy and hope to be back next year!More
