Westminster Abbey is one of the UK's most notable religious buildings so prepare for crowds of folks if you plan to visit. It is well worth getting a guided tour, otherwise you will just be following a sea of folks meandering through. Located in Parliament Square!

The ticket line moved swiftly. Once inside you get the complimentary self guided audio tour. My wife and daughter went up to the second level for a bit extra and they highly recommended it. I believe it cost £5 but she would do it again as the view was breathtaking.

We waited about 20 minutes in line, which is not bad at all. Once inside, all the London pass holders grab the free audioguide. They then become zombies unaware of anyone around them. They block the way and walk without looking out for others. Very little church material per se. It is mainly an array of sepulture...impossible to take everything in, especially with the crowd. You have to advance continually with the flow of people.

Quite expensive for the experience. Would not do it again.

We signed up for a private guided tour of this amazing place and learned so much...some 3,000 people are buried here! Go right when it opens in the morning to beat the crowds.
