Stayed two nights in a basement room. Large room 7m x 5m plus en suite. Clean and comfortable. Only down side was bit of noise from reception area next door. There was a problem with cold water supply on the last night meant we had to use other close facilities but were given a refund on out booking. Staff helpful and breakfast good but only cereals and toast. Would recommend this hotel and would stay again. Looked like they were working their way through the rooms on an upgrade programme.

A basic hotel but we found it quite OK for a one night stay; we dropped our bags before going to an event at the Royal Albert Hall, returning to the hotel at 0100 for some sleep. Quiet area at night. We'd booked a twin room with toilet/shower but on arrival were told that there were problems with some rooms so we had been moved to a 5 bed room with shower but no toilet. We did have the room to ourselves but having to share a toilet down the corridor was not ideal. We had our bill reduced by £20, so the cost of the room was cheap for such a location. Beds were OK, shower room clean. General decoration not great (peeling ceiling),carpets tired. Breakfast area a bit hostel like - limited options, cereal, toast, juice, tea/coffee. Not a place to stay for long but it is OK for a brief stopover.

if you are looking for place to sleep close to Victoria Station, this is what you are looking for.
Rooms are clean and cheap. Breakfast is just toast and cereals.
Tea, milk and instant coffee (we didn't like it). Staff was very friendly and helpfull.
Showers are not in the rooms and very very small.
Don't expect any comfort here.
But price was very low for London.

Room Tip: This is just a place to save money

This is a very basic hotel, a group of 4 of us stayed one night before the NFL game at Wembley in a shared room with 4 beds, the room had no tv and a shared toilet, it suited the purpose though as we only dropped our bags off before going out on the town, only returning very inebriated hours later to sleep it off before checking out , dropping our bags off at the train station and then going to watch the game, then getting the train home. I wouldn`t recommend staying too long as its very basic, the breakfast was poor, just toast and cereal , but it does have a good location and if all u want is somewhere to sleep then its cheap and fine.

We booked a twin room for 7/7/14 to rest up after Wimbledon. Arrived to fine behind elegant outer fascade, tired, dirty corridor s / communist areas. our booked twin became a family room up in attic No. 14 with 4 beds/ bed linen / towels clean. Room filthy have pictures were chunks of wall paper torn off, hanging off, lamps with no plug sockets to use, no TV, no drinks tray and a room door that locked but moved freely in its frame every time there was movement outside- slept with chair anchoring it for piece of mind

Room Tip: Don't book here, never saw twin room, whose pics I'd used to decide to make booking from
